Teachers Can Be Heroes Too

When a child is asked who their hero is, obviously there are many different answers that can be made. For some, it is their parents and really should a child have their parents their hero, then that is a good sign. For other children, it is some celebrity or larger than life sports hero. Perhaps for some we tap into the realm of fiction for a character that has inspired of.

However, what about a teacher?

Shouldn't teachers be a positive influence in the life of many children? Shouldn't teachers be individuals that will be a positive and prominent influence in the lives of many children?

Teachers Should Be a Standard Children Strive to Be

To look at many of the teachers you have during your school career and you have a mixture of teachers that made an impression on you in a good way, teachers that made an impression in a negative way, and many teachers that really made positively no impression on you at all. The best teachers, really did give you inspiration, they knew their material and encouraged you and the rest of your class mates to be the best that you can be.

They were a standard which you really did admire more often than not. There are times where teachers really just lose sight of the responsibility and the influence that they have on those that they teach. Some do get it but there are times where over the years, they lose sight of the important, the absolutely wonderful influence that they have on the lives of many out there.

If a teacher can really inspire one child out there, then their job is not done in vain. Perhaps that one child, who might have been on a path, that was leading them down a wrong direction. Perhaps the tireless efforts of a teacher rather caused something to click right in them. Made them really appreciate the value of a good education and to try harder.

If one student can be reached, then there is hope for the rest of them. And if one teacher manages to realize what their purpose is, to help lead the next generation into being educated to expand their base of knowledge, then perhaps their can be hope for the rest of the teachers out there.

Teachers should be worthy of consideration for being a true hero. Given the influence they can potentially have other the youth of today, teachers can position themselves to make more of a difference. Sometimes a good teacher is all it takes to make a difference in the life.

In the end, cherish those teachers who make a difference right there. Cherish those educators who make it their purpose to never give up. And do listen to the teachers who actually have a passion for their job as you may learn something.
